Visitors Guide – What to Expect at Broken Leash

First time? Follow these quick steps for a smooth, tail-wagging visit to Charleston’s dog-friendly patio bar.


  1. Create your pup’s profile – open our Gingr portal or download the Gingr app and enter code 818178.
  2. Upload vaccines – Rabies, Bordetella & Distemper must be current. Upload in Gingr or email them to hello@thebrokenleash.biz .
  3. Check-in & redeem / buy your pass – our Paw Attendant confirms vaccines and either redeems your pre-purchased pass or sells you one on the spot.
  4. Let the Rufferees ref the fun – trained staff supervise play while you relax with a craft drink at the indoor bar or covered patio.
  5. Keep it clean & friendly – pick up after your pup and follow Rufferee guidance so everyone has a great time.

Park Rules & Requirements

Safety and joy go paw-in-hand. Please review these key rules before you play.


  • Health & Safety. Dogs must be Rabies, Bordetella & Distemper vaccinated and non-aggressive.
  • Supervision. Keep dogs leashed outside off-leash areas and stay within eyesight at all times.
  • Facility Use. No children, outside food/drink, or glass. Smoking in the designated area only.
  • Clean-Up. Scoop the poop—bags and stations provided.
  • Admission Rights. Staff may ask guests (human or canine) to leave for rule violations.
  • Three-Strike Policy. Repeated disruptive behaviour results in time-outs or expulsion.
